    Important Information

Check to see when our doctors are available

We are an Accredited General Practice

Being accredited means that our general practice is committed to a comprehensive program

    Billing

This is a mixed billing practice.  Only children, school students, pension and healthcare card holders will be bulk billed. All other patients are privately billed unless at the individual doctor’s discretion.

    Appointments

Nobody likes to be kept waiting. We are all aware of this and try to adhere to appointment schedules. However, the unpredictable nature of medical practice means that doctors sometimes run behind time. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to patients when we are behind with our appointments.

    Long Appointments

If a long consultation is required, please advise us when making your appointment.

    Results

Doctors will inform patients during their appointment on the best way to obtain their results.

    Continuous Care

    underline
We believe your health is best managed by continuous care from the same source, rather than taking different problems to different places. We will refer you for specialist opinions, investigations and treatment when necessary. Our aim is to give patients the time necessary for us to properly explore and deal with their problems.

    Services

This practice provides a complete range of medical care

    Care Plans

We provide comprehensive care plans for patients including diabetes, heart disease, chronic lung disease, osteoarthritis and other chronic conditions.

On Saturday mornings 8am – 12pm there are a number of local general practices open including Springwood General Practice Ph: 3208 6122 for urgent appointments. For emergencies attend Logan or QEII Hospitals or call Queensland Ambulance Service on 000.

    Immunisations

We provide childhood and other immunisations.

    Nurses on Site

We have experienced nurses on site Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

    Schedule 8 Drugs

We do not prescribe schedule 8 drugs to new patients and this is also at the discretion of the doctor.

Most people who test positive for COVID-19 will likely only experience mild symptoms and recover without requiring special treatment or hospitalisation, especially if fully vaccinated. The majority will be able to self-manage their illness by referring to the RACGP’s COVID-19 patient guide.
